ENA General Assembly

Posted over 5 years ago by Steven Hobbs

Well, it is that time of year again.
ENA continues to determine what the 2020 General Assembly will look like. Planning for General Assembly mirrors the EN20 event planning, including assessing virtual options and evaluating the format based on the evolving local, state and federal guidelines relating to social distancing and mass gatherings. As the premier organization for emergency nurses, ENA considers the safety of our members and the public a top priority for determining the best format for the 2020 General Assembly. The 2020 General Assembly will be held on Sept. 8, followed by the Scientific Assembly.

Each state council must register their delegates, alternate delegate, and state captain in the ENA
Online Management System at least 75 days prior to the General Assembly, but no later than
June 25. No additional General Assembly delegates may be registered after this date. However, changes to registered delegates may be made accordingly. This deadline is in accordance with the ENA General Assembly Standing Rules of Procedure. Delegates will be selected as per the Hawai'i State Council Bylaws. There will be a partial stipend to assist with attendee expenses as determined by the State Council.

So, if you are interested in being a Hawai'i Delegate to the General Assembly please e-mail Steve Hobbs at ponani@Hawaii.rr.com. before June 3, 2020. The next HSC-ENA meeting is June 4th at 17:30. Delegates will be selected then. In your e-mail please outline your ENA involvement over the past two years.
